Ethical reflections on the circular economy

As the last keynote of the conference the Head of Group Communications in Roche, Dr. Stephan Feldhaus took the stage to reflect upon the ethics of sustainability. He showcased that every action humans take, can be linked back to nature’s network. This is where the very basis of circular economy lies. He calls on the responsibility of the people to be open to learning processes, necessary corrections, discussions and understandings. Specially to overcome the discrepancy between responsibility awareness and acts of responsibility. His final remarks on consumerism and possessions, Feldhaus states: “It does not depend on what we own, but rather on how we handle our possessions.”
