Banding together through the Circular Economy Switzerland Movement

What use is the Circular Economy Switzerland Movement? This question was tackled by Holger Schmid, co-initiator of the movement. The MAVA Foundation Program Manager states that the aim of the movement was to create a figurative “home” in Switzerland where participants across industry sectors can unite forces and work together towards a circular economy. “We need new models to get more use out of our resources,” Schmid states. The movement wants to make this new knowledge and these new approaches accessible and offer a platform where collaboration is fostered. “It is a complex undertaking but if we work together, then we will make it.” The movement’s next meetup will take place in Lausanne on August 30th 2019.
